Holiday Ordering and New Products

Filed under: General, Wine Racks — Erin @ 2:34 pm

Yes, I know that Thanksgiving hasn’t even come and gone yet so why am I bothering to write about Christmas? Simple, the deadline to order from us for Christmas is fast approaching, we will not be able to guarantee orders placed after November 30th will arrive in time for Christmas.  Yes, this seems very early but many of our racks and holders are custom made to order and we need to give our artists time to construct your orders without sacrificing the quality you have all come to love from our racks. So while it is likely that orders placed after the 30th might make it in time for Christmas it’s better to be safe than sorry!

Also coming in the next few weeks we are going to be carrying a new line of hand made wooden wall mounted wine racks.  These very functional art pieces are unique and beautiful and sure to be a conversation piece as well as functional so be on the lookout!

Spring Is In The Air…and So Can Too Your Wine

Filed under: General, Wine Racks — admin @ 11:44 am

To celebrate the arrival of the warm weather we are introducing two new bottle holders!  A favourite bottle holder and one of our best sellers, Le Arc are now available in lovely blue and green finishes.  These holders are also made of poplar wood so are sure to be sturdy and long lasting.  As with all of our other Le Arc wine holders, the new blue and green holders defy gravity as they balance your wine in mid air!

Calling All Artists and Manufacturers!

Filed under: General, Wine Racks — Erin @ 2:01 pm

Over the past couple of months I am sure many of you have noticed that we have increased our inventory and started selling a variety of new and exciting wine racks and wine holders.  The reason for this is we have been lucky enough to have found a nice group of small independent artists and manufacturers who specialize in a sometimes limited variety, but very unique and excellent quality racks.

In saying this, I would like to extend an invitation to all you independent artists and small manufacturers of wine racks to get in contact with us to discuss Finest Wine Racks carrying your products on our website.

Please send an email to info@  finestwineracks.com (remove the spaces after the @) and I will personally get back to you!

Portable Party

Filed under: Wine Racks — Erin @ 10:35 am

One of my favourite wine racks we currently carry is the Mission Style Wine Cart. More than just a wine rack, this steel constructed wine cart has a glass top and is on 4 wheels so it can be moved around with the party. The glass top is perfect to use as a bar and because it is on wheels, taking it out by the pool on a hot summer day isn’t a problem.

It’s a durable and beautiful piece that is sure to get lots of use and be a conversation piece. I love the face that it is a portable bar, with space to hold your wine, glasses and accessories on the glass you never have to worry about not being able to have a glass of wine regardless of where the party goes!

The at Home Wine Bar

Filed under: Wine Racks — admin @ 10:15 am

A unique and beautiful piece, our Red Oak Bar is a perfect wine rack for those looking to have a versatile wine storage system which also is aesthetically pleasing. Measuring only 39 1/4″ (H) x 38 1/2″ (W) x13 1/2″ (D) this bar holds both wine and wine glasses making it perfect for those who don’t have a lot of space but want to have a wine bar in their house. When guests are over, the flat top can be used as a serving platform or bar for people to drink around. And because it is sent flat packed with some minor assembly required it is less expensive than other similar wine bar systems. It’s perfect if you are looking for a stylish wine bar storage system!

Why I Love Wine Holders and Wine Caddies!

Filed under: Wine Racks — Erin @ 8:37 am

Aside from the brief mention here and there with regards to the Wine Bug or Bugus Erectus, very little mention has been made as to how versatile a wine holder or wine caddy really can be! At the risk of sounding like an infomercial, I would like to point out why I love wine holders and wine caddies.A wine holder is a great way to display that single bottle of wine that you want to set apart from the rest of your collection. Maybe you have a bottle of wine that you bought while on your honeymoon in France, or maybe it’s just a bottle from the market, which you think is fabulous, either way wine bottle holders are a better option to simply standing it on the counter. We all know that bottles should not be stood up because the cork can dry out and spoil the wine, so not only does a wine holder display you favourite bottle, but it also does this the correct way!

Some wine holders also double as a wine server, which makes it even more appealing. Aside from just showing off a bottle of wine, wine servers also are a great way to serve that Chardonnay or Merlot at a dinner party. From traditional to a little more eccentric, wine servers are always a conversation piece as well as a fantastic method for displaying and serving wine.

How often have you been invited to dinner and showed up with a bottle of wine in a plastic supermarket shopping bag or a brown paper sack from the liquor store? I know I have done it many times, and always feel a little awkward showing up at a nice dinner with the bottle in a brown bag that makes you look like a bum. Enter the wine caddy! Able to hold from one bottle to a few, a wine caddy is, in my humble opinion, a much better way of transporting wine. Some even hold wine glasses, which is perfect if you are looking to have a lovely picnic in the park (be aware of public drinking laws before doing this, while it might be acceptable in some places, in others you could get arrested).

So this is why I love the wine caddy and the wine holder! So many styles and so many uses, I only wish I had written about them sooner!

A Favorite Rack

Filed under: Wine Racks — admin @ 10:38 am

There is nothing more lovely than the look of a perfectly crafted wooden wine rack. Especially the look of a maple and walnut wall mounted wine rack. The two colors, opposite yet complimenting are unique and beautiful creating a wine rack unlike any other. Created to be beautiful as well as durable, this is probably one of my favorite wine racks around.
